On Friday 20th November, 27 of St Catherine’s finest athletes took part in the first stage of our competition, the time trials. This year, only the fastest four boys and girls would make it through to the semi finals.

Times were extremely close and the standard was extremely high. 

I must congratulate all students who took part, their talents shone on this day.

Congratulations to Sophie Langdon, Sophia Yau, Holly Anstee, Chiara Chiodo, Oscar Bowen, Miles Brown, Cohen Walters and Jakob Nowak who have gotten through to the semi finals.

Oscar Bowen will be defending his 2019 title.

It was a beautiful day on Thursday at St Catherine's and the atmosphere was electric. The whole school gathered to witness the Ironman and Ironwoman semi finals. Sadly Sophia Yau was unwell and was unable to compete so our 5th placegetter, Vivienne Ronchi stepped up and stepped up she did.

Competing for the Bronze medal are Sophie Langdon, Chiara Chiodo, Jakob Nowak and Miles Brown.

 As we know with this competition, anything can happen and nothing is a certainty.
