Holt Cross Country 2019
Congratulations to Ella Armaoutis, who came 2nd in the 12/13 Girls race and Oscar Bowen who placed in the top 3 for a second year in a row in the 12/13 Boys race. Ella and Oscar will now represent Holt in the Beachside Cross Country next Tuesday. We all wish them well.
It was a great day for St Catherine's who came 5th in the Percentage Category and 6th overall. Charlie Grainger came 9th, just missing out on representing Holt at Beachside. Congratulations, also to Nick Stamatakos who came 13th and Jack Susic, 16th. Hamza, Andy and Jack Thorp finished in the 20's.
I am extremely proud of all children who dedicated their recess, most weeks to training. I hope those children who are able, will compete next year and encourage others to join our elite squad.
I would like to thank all the parents who came to support our children on the day. It is great to have you at these events. A huge thank you to Maegen Potter and Kath Barca. I hope you enjoyed sharing this special time with our squad. I value your assistance.
Congratulations Emilia
Emilia Fode in Year 5/6 has qualified in the Under 11 Girls High Jump to represent Team Vic in School Sport Australia Track and Field, National Championships. These will be held in Darwin at Lakeside Stadium in September. This is a fantastic achievement for Emilia and we couldn't be prouder of what she has achieved so far. Good luck Amelia.

Netball by Jess Lee
During netball this week, St Agnes Highett came to our school to play netball. The “A” team scored 17 goals while St Agnes scored 3 goals. The “B” team scored 9 goals while St Agnes scored 26 goals.
Best on court was Holly, Andy and Jack G.
We were happy to be able to play Netball today as the weather was looking very dull..

On the 24th of May the year 5/6 children played against St Agnes in football and won 68-26. The goal kickers were: Jack Thorp scored 3, Daniel 1 goal and 4 behinds, Peter scored 1 goal and 2 behinds, Oscar Bowen scored 1 goal 2 behinds, Hamza scored 1 goal 1 behinds, David and Charlie Grainger scored 1 goal each. St Agnes scored 4 goals and 2 behinds.
